Getting from Narita to Tokyo
Narita airport is about 90 minutes east of the heart of Tokyo, but there are a number of ways to get in to the city. The cheapest is the Keisei line and can be done for about 1,000 yen to Nippori. Easier but more costly is the Narita Express train and my personal favorite, the Friendly Airport Limousine (bus). Links to each are below, but first is a site with a variety of options listed for getting in to the city:
Japan Guide's Narita Airport Transit Page -- an info page with descriptions of options and links.
Narita Express -- the Japan Rail (JR) train directly from Narita airport to Shinjuku and Tokyo Stations.
Friendly Airport Limousine: A nice option for getting from Narita to most major locations in Tokyo. Approximately 3,000 yen, but check the website for
specials. If you are coming from Narita, probably the best thing would be to take the Airport Limo bus to Shinagawa, and then take the Yokosuka line two stops to Nishi-Oi.
The (cheap option) Keisei/Keikyu lines link up with the Asakusa subway line and take you all the way to Nakanobu for about 1200 yen, but involves a couple transfers.
